Frequently asked questions

How do I enter the call?

Write an application addressed to the department director in two languages, register your current transcript with your GPA and have it signed by the director of your school. Add recommendation letters (if any) and notarised parental consent for study of over two months. Hand the full set in to office 136 during the application period.

How does selection work?

Two stages: an English test (not needed if you have IELTS/TOEFL) and an interview with the selection committee, which takes the final decision.

How much does it cost to study abroad?

Partner universities offer tuition-free study, but the flight, housing, food and other personal costs are usually paid by the student. The amounts are listed in each partner’s information, so assess your budget before applying.

Which courses will I take?

At some universities the course list is published only a month before the start. Agree the programme with your school in advance; if there are differences, an individual study plan is approved together with the office registrar.

Do I need an IELTS/TOEFL certificate?

A certificate exempts you from the internal test. The required level is at least B2; many programmes are taught in English, though another language of instruction can be chosen.

Can I extend my stay abroad?

Yes, with the consent of the dean (director) of your school, within the same academic year and not for the last semester before graduation.
